A full week of grown-up Halloween creativity, cocktails and after-dark Glo House vibes.
Across the week, expect a mix of bold themed workshops, neon colour, spooky makes, SFX, music, cocktails and seriously good photo moments. Every night is different, every session is hands-on, and everything is designed for adults who want more than just another night in the pub.

Welcome to the craft club that doesn’t feel like a craft club 😎
STITCH & BITCH is a relaxed, creative social session based at The Glo House in Consett — designed for crafty people, hobby collectors, creative minds and anyone who just wants a brew, good company and a couple of hours to switch off.
Bring your own hobby, unfinished project or latest obsession and hang out with likeminded people in a fun, welcoming and judgement-free space. Whether you’re into crochet, knitting, painting, journaling, sewing, calligraphy, textured art or just fancy trying something new… you’ll fit right in.

☕ £3.50 per session includes one Coffee or Tea & biscuits
Expect good music, creative vibes, laughs, community and a colourful atmosphere that’s a million miles away from your typical old-school craft group.
One Saturday per month becomes our SPECIALIST WORKSHOP DAY featuring guest sessions and themed creative workshops including:

We also host a SEASONAL MAKERS MARKET where members can sell their handmade creations to the public, support local makers and help raise money for local charities.

Youth Takeover Night – You Run the Vibe
This is YOUR night.
Our brand-new Youth Takeover Night gives young people the chance to take over the Glo House party studio for an evening of music, games, glow vibes and hanging out with friends.
You choose the music.
You choose the vibe.
We provide the space, lights, activities and supervision.
Expect disco lighting, party games, chill zones, and full Glo House energy in a fully hosted, safe environment.
Perfect for teens who just want a fun place to socialise, laugh, dance, and feel like they own the room — without the pressure of a “formal” event.
Refreshments like Bubble Tea/Milkshakes/ Fresh Boom Box Chicken Noodles! Sweet Deserts & Snacks all available to buy at the Bar!
